Our Story
For a long time, I've been attempting to form a group of people that produce creative things that people will want. In high school, I formed a small group of programmers called Shogun P.A.C. We put out a few extra levels for Doom, and a few small programs that were centered on our BBS addiction. Later, in college, I started Dark Eternity Publications. I brought together a small group of web designers, along with an artist and my own poetry, and showcased all of the works on a web page.
In the middle of 2003, I realized that I knew a lot of talented artists, and all of them wanted freedom from their day jobs. I happened to have some serial fiction that I had written which would work very well as a comic book. So, I gathered the artists together, assigned issues and chapters, and we all began work. Dark Eternity Publications was given new life.
That pretty much fell apart. Every single artist, except for one, flaked. We all missed deadlines regularly. We got as far as teaser images for the website from a few of the artists, but no further. Dark Eternity Publications tanked, leaving its primary project, Steven, in limbo.
Like the undead primary character, Steven refuses to die. We belive in the project, in our talent, and the story that is begging to be told. Shogun P.A.C. and Dark Eternity Publications may be dust, but the creation continues. So, welcome to Steven's website. If you have any words of wisdom or encouragement, please contact us. We'd love to hear from you.
